A Story Of Seven Rivers

Seven Rivers Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC, the proud voice of the Angkamuthi people.

We have a strong connection the lands and waters that sustain us, spanning the Bamaga, Injinoo, Seisha, and Umagico regions.

Honouring the Seven Rivers

Our organisation draws its name from the Seven Rivers on the west coast of Far North Queensland, reflecting our deep roots and responsibilities to these waterways. Each river carries ancestral stories, reminding us of the importance of preserving the cultural and spiritual heartbeat of our people.

Our Community, Our Future

At the heart of Seven Rivers Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC is our community—the Elders who guide us, the families who sustain us, and the young people who will carry our legacy forward. We believe that true progress comes from within, by strengthening our culture, supporting our people, and working together.

From youth programs to cultural revitalisation, economic development to environmental stewardship, we are investing in the next generation of Angkamuthi leaders. By building on the strength of our past, we are creating a future where Angkamuthi culture thrives in every home, classroom, workplace, and community gathering.
